Application Procedure via Uni-Assist

Research Universities and Programs | Try to find the right university and program which you want to study. Try to know that university is available on UNI-ASSIST Not every university is available on UNI-ASSIST. Every University in Germany has its own Application Dates & Dead Lines for Admission Application, so try to find it first. |
Check Admission Requirements | Academic Requirements: Check that your academic qualifications meet the admission criteria for the certain university you have selected. Language Proficiency: Many programs require German Language Skills like,Test DaF, DSH English Proficiency Skills like, IELTS, TOEFL |
Create a Uni-Assist Account | Go to UNI-ASSIST website and create your account https://www.uni-assist.de Provide your personal information Register your account |
Prepare Required Documents | Get ready all your required documents which includes Online Application Via UNI-ASSIST Educational Documents etc School Leaving Certificate Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree and Transcript English Proficiency Letters German Language Proficiency CV Motivational Letters Reference Letters/Recommendation Letters Or any other supporting documents ID Documents like Passport front two Pages CNIC/ID Card/ Birth Certificate in some cases. |
Submit Documents | Upload your documents as part of your online application, Some universities may require paper copies Make sure your documents should be properly certified, If not in English then Translated in German Language. |
Application Fees | UNI-Assist Charge Fee of Euro 75 for First Application and from Second to onward Euro 30 each. Payable through various methods, Credit/Debit Cards, etc |
Submit Application | After uploading the documents and fee payment Uni-assist will make sure your application is submitted properly. |
Wait for Evaluation | Uni-Assist will check you application and forward it to relevant university, it may take several weeks for the outcome, but you can check your dashboard for the progress. You will be notified if there is an issue or further documentation required. |
Acceptance or Rejection | If your application is accepted university will contact you directly, If there is a rejection you can contact Uni-Assist for further action to apply in a new program and university. |
Important Information | Application Deadlines: German Universities have two application periods Summer Semester Starts in March/April Winter Semester Starts in September/October Make sure to apply well before time to avoid any inconvenience IF Accepted: Apply for German visa as soon as possible in the nearest German Embassy. Blocked Account: International Students need to show their maintenance funds in the Blocked Account in a German Bank & the minimum required amount is €11,000. For one year. |
